Viserion is a male Dragon, bonded to Cadus.
History[]
As an egg[]
Viserion was one of two bonded eggs, alongside his sister Vhagar, given to the riders from the mating of Raugmar the Black and an unknown wild female dragon. His egg was eventually placed within the Vault of Souls for safe keeping as one of the twenty-six destined for Riders before eventually founded by Dragons Saphira and Glaedr' and Rider Eragon after a century. Birth and Early Life[]
Several decades after their departure, Viserion's egg was sent back to Alagaësia where he was transported back and forth among the humans and elves in an attempt to have the egg hatch for one of them though such events were met with failure.

Physical Appearance[]
Viserion was a muscular, broad-chested male dragon with stocky and powerful limbs, a wide, muscular tail, and large, powerful wings. He was one of the few dragons whose vibrant scales were multi-colored with those that covered his head, neck, back and tail the color of black steel.

In contrast, the scales on his throat and underbelly were golden with similarly colored wing membranes and piercing golden eyes split by black, vertical pupils. His head is roughly triangular with four cream-colored cheek spikes on each side, three serrated fangs that jutted out of his upper jaw onto his bottom lip slightly, a crown of black and gold horns and black spines that ran down his neck. His voice is described as deep with a resonate tone.
Personality[]
Viserion was a proud and fierce dragon
Often referred as being the "strong and silent type", Viserion is noted as being reserved in comparison to Khal to the point that he often lets him speak on his behalf
As Viserion's physical appearance is often described as looking proud and fierce, the same can be said about his attitude; like many dragons, he is prideful and vain though not to the same degree as females. Despite this, he is capable of acting calm and levelheaded when the situation calls for it and is able to bend his pride enough to be humble and show the proper respect to those who deserve it. Like his rider, he is quite brave as he is willing to face those bigger than he is and doesn't often display fear whenever he experiences it. On the account of Viserion's prideful nature, he doesn't tend to show as much physical signs of affection towards Khal as other bonded dragons though it doesn't mean that he cares about his rider any less. Viserion will do anything to keep Khal alive and safe while showing a protective side over his partner, being quick to jump to his rider's defense should someone threaten him.
